Programs Offered by Quality Tutoring Services

Quality Tutoring Services offers a variety of programs to help students achieve their academic goals. 

SAT and ACT Programs

Our SAT^® and ACT^® programs are designed to prepare students for the exam in a short period of time. The program requires several hours of training in math, as well as critical reading and writing, providing the student with excellent instructions for the required areas on the exam. At the beginning of the program, the student is given a practice exam to see where he or she stands.  Then, periodically throughout the course, the student will take several more exams. With these practice exams, the tutor is able to track the student’s progress. During the process, the student's strengths and weaknesses are assessed to determine what areas need to be emphasized in order to guarantee an improvement in the test score. The program saves time and money while fully preparing the student for the SAT or ACT exam.

Midterm and Final Exam Programs

These are special preparation programs for midterm and final examinations. It is a program designed according to each student’s needs, abilities, understanding of the subject and the time on hand. The intensive preparation program is planned and executed in a way to ensure that the student is well prepared and ready to take his or her exam with confidence and ease.

Summer Preparation Program

Our summer preparation program gives our students a head start for the next academic year. It has proven to be exceptionally efficient and extremely beneficial to students. Through this program, we have assisted many students in reaching and maintaining above average grades throughout the academic year. We have also helped to improve studying and homework habits. Without any stress or late-night studying, the summer preparation program helps students outperform their classmates. Our services are tailored to meet every student’s specific academic needs.

High School Credit - BYU Independent Study Program

In this independent study program, Quality Tutoring Services assists students with courses offered by Brigham Young University. The program allows students to retake a class to improve their grade. A student may also use this program to take a new class instead of taking it at school. We help the student with the class material and proctor his or her examinations and quizzes. When the student passes the class, he or she receives credit for that class at their school and will not need to take the same class again. Students are able to take classes that translate into credits at their own high school. Examinations and quizzes are supervised by a licensed proctor on staff at Quality Tutoring Services. BYU is fully accredited by the NAAS (National Academy of American Scholars), NWCCU (Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities) and CITA (Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation). 

Preparation for AP Examinations

This program is for students who are either enrolled in or who are planning to enroll in one or more Advanced Placement (AP) classes. Many students find they need outside help when enrolled in an AP class because of its more rigorous academic requirements. Quality Tutoring Services thoroughly prepares students so that their performance on the AP final examination is greatly improved. 

Diagnostic Testing

Diagnostic testing is available from Quality Tutoring Services to determine a student's weakness in a particular area of study. Using the results from the diagnostic test, the tutor can then emphasize the areas in which the student needs additional work so as to ensure his or her success on a particular examination.   

Special Needs

Quality Tutoring Services includes slow-paced teaching for students with LD (Learning Disabilities). We also give special considerations to students with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).

Swimming Lessons

Swimming is part of our sensory activities program for autistic children. However, we have expanded these sessions to include anyone who could benefit from them.

Child Care

Our Child Care program provides trusted adult supervision of children while their parents are away.
