SAT and ACT Programs
Our SAT® and ACT® programs are designed to prepare students for an exam in a short period of time. The program requires several hours of training in math, as well as critical reading and writing, providing the student with excellent instructions for the required areas on the exam. At the beginning of the program, the student is given a practice exam to see where he or she stands. Then, periodically throughout the course, the student will take several more exams. With these practice exams, the tutor is able to track the student’s progress. During the process, the student's strengths and weaknesses are assessed to determine what areas need to be emphasized in order to guarantee an improvement in the test score. The program saves time and money while also fully preparing the student for the SAT or ACT exam.
Midterm and Final Exam Programs
These are special preparation programs for midterm and final examinations. It is a program designed according to each student’s needs, abilities, understanding of the subject and the time on hand. The intensive preparation program is planned and executed in a way to ensure that the student is well prepared and ready to take his or her exam with confidence and ease.
Summer Preparation Program
Our summer preparation program gives our students a head start for the next academic year. It has proven to be exceptionally efficient and extremely beneficial to students. Through this program, we have assisted many students in reaching and maintaining above average grades throughout the academic year. We have also helped to improve studying and homework habits. Without the fear and stress of late-night studying, the summer preparation program helps students excel above their classmates.
Preparation for AP Examinations
This program is for students who are either enrolled in or who are planning to enroll in Advanced Placement (AP) classes. Many students find they need outside help when enrolled in an AP class because of its more rigorous academic requirements. Quality Tutoring Services thoroughly prepares students so that their performance on the AP final examination is of the highest standard.
Diagnostic Testing
Diagnostic testing is available to determine a student's weakness in a particular area of study for any standardized test. Using the results from the diagnostic test, the tutor can then emphasize the areas in which the student needs additional work so as to ensure his or her success on a particular examination. We cater to diagnostic testing for AP, SAT, and ACT exams.
Special Needs
Quality Tutoring Services includes slow-paced teaching for students with LD (Learning Disabilities). We also give special considerations to students with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).
Essay and Research Writing Assistance Programs
For our clients who need extra assistance when it comes to writing essays and research papers, QTS tutors are the best. We have qualified English majors who will walk a student through each component of an essay as well as teaching them the right tools and skills for their writing assignments. A step-by-step program will allow the student to learn the formula for writing the best essay as well as learning how to perform proper research for even the longest of papers.
Group Study Program
For students who excel more when working in a group setting, we also offer group study sessions for up to 5 students. Including all of our programs listed above, every group will have a designated tutor and the chance to work with other students all while learning and preparing for their specific exam, subject, or course.
College Placement Exam Program
Getting into college can be both a scary and difficult thing, however; QTS tutors are able to help ease any student into college placement exams. From undergraduate to graduate, we have programs that will suit each student's needs and prepare them for what lies ahead. We coach in test anxiety, proper study habits and gaining maximum knowledge so each student can succeed in the college world.
College and University Application Assistance Program
For some students, the first step is always the hardest but with our application assistance program, you will learn how to get off to a good start. Each tutor will walk a student through every component of the application process and give them the confidence they need in order to excel in college. From personal statements to sending out transcripts, our tutors here at QTS will make applying for college easy and even fun.
Teacher Follow-up Program
For a minimal monthly fee this program allows for our client’s
teachers to follow along with their students outside of the classroom.
We will contact the student’s teacher and periodically discuss the
status of a student as well as suggestions for achieving better grades.
