Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Tutoring Hours: Seven days a week, 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM (subject to tutor availability)
Sessions requested after 9:00 PM may be accommodated at an additional charge, subject to instructor availability and willingness.
Scheduling
- All initial scheduling is conducted through the office.
- Once matched with an instructor, subsequent scheduling is handled directly between you and the instructor.
- If you are unable to reach your instructor, contact the office for assistance.
- A fixed weekly schedule is required to maintain consistency and effectiveness.
Pricing
- Prices vary by grade level. Call (714) 991-3838 for exact pricing.
- All sessions must be at least one hour. If the full hour is not used, the full hour is still charged.
Billing & Payment
- Invoices are issued weekly, biweekly, or monthly based on your chosen billing cycle. Payment is due before sessions take place.
- Accepted: Cash (drop-off only), Check (drop-off or mail), Credit Card, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal.
- All major credit cards accepted. A convenience fee applies to credit card payments.
- Returned checks incur a $25 fee.
- Checks payable to Quality Tutoring Services or QTS, mailed to 1319 S. Euclid St., Suite A, Anaheim, CA 92802.
- A billing statement is emailed after payment is received and processed.
- Payments not received within 15 days of the invoiced billing date will incur a 15% late payment fee.
- Delinquent accounts may be referred to collections. The client is liable for all costs of collection, including attorneys' fees.
Non-Solicitation Agreement
This agreement is effective upon signing up for tutoring services with Quality Tutoring Services (QTS), a California corporation at 1319 S. Euclid Street, Anaheim, CA 92802.
Summary: By signing up, you agree not to directly or indirectly solicit, recruit, or hire any QTS tutor or staff member for any purpose for a period of 2 years following termination of services.
- Non-Solicitation: During and for 2 years after termination, Client will not solicit, recruit, or hire any QTS tutor.
- Scope: Applies to all QTS tutors and staff who provide services during or after the term of this agreement.
- Remedies: Breach entitles QTS to injunctive relief and/or damages including loss of profits.
- Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
- Modifications: May only be amended in writing signed by both parties.
By accepting the terms and conditions on the Sign Up page, you acknowledge and agree to all non-solicitation terms above. Breach may result in legal action.
Cancellation & No-Show
- Cancellations or reschedules require at least 6 hours' notice to the instructor or office. Failure to do so results in a charge for the full session, capped at 1 hour.
- If the tutor arrives or calls at the scheduled time and cannot reach the client, the session is marked a "no-show". The client is charged for the full session, capped at 2 hours.
Example: A scheduled 3-hour session with a no-show will be charged for 2 hours only.
Rescheduling
- Cancelled sessions should be made up the same week whenever possible to maintain program continuity.
- If the instructor cannot be reached after a proper cancellation, contact the office. A substitute instructor may be arranged if needed.
Late Arrivals
Student Late/No-Show:
- If no one is home, the instructor will wait 15 minutes before leaving. No-shows are charged in full, capped at 2 hours.
- If the student arrives late, the instructor provides only the remaining time in the session and the full session is charged.
Instructor Late Arrival:
- If the instructor is late, the full scheduled session time will still be provided from the time of arrival.
- The instructor is expected to call if running late.
Your Responsibility
QTS maintains detailed records, but clients are responsible for the following:
- Tracking tutoring hours received.
- Being prepared for each session with all necessary materials. For remote sessions: audio, microphone, and internet access.
- Contacting the office when you wish to stop receiving services.
- Cancelling for school, legal, religious holidays, and/or vacations a minimum of 6 hours in advance.
- If services are discontinued mid-billing week, special discounts are forfeited and the original hourly rate applies for hours completed that week.
QTS will assume sessions are proceeding as scheduled during holidays and vacations unless you inform the instructor and/or office otherwise.
