No exam will be taken at a student’s residence or public area. All exams will be taken only at QTS Testing Center. When a student calls requesting an appointment, the office personnel will instruct the student to contact the college, university, school or any other educational institution and request the exam to be sent to QTS Testing Center. After we receive the exam, we will contact the student and inform him or her, their exam has been received by our proctoring staff and confirm their initial scheduled exam date. If the student does not show up before the exam due date, the exam will be mailed or emailed back to the sender. It is QTS Testing Center Policy that no Employee, Tutor, Instructor, Teacher or Advisor is allowed to open any exams; all exams are forwarded to QTS Testing Center Directors or Proctors upon arrival and kept there until the student arrives at the center to be tested. All students are required to call in and schedule an appointment to take their exam.
Exams are administered by the proctor on a one-on-one basis, so for this reason, it is very important for the students to call in and reserve a time spot with at least a 24 hour notice. Appointments can be made 5 days a week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Procedure

QTS Testing Center offers separate testing stations using privacy partitions. The proctor’s seat is situated in a way that allows an unobstructed view of the student taking the exam. Our center also provides a separate area outside the testing room for checking in candidates and waiting area. We also provide storage area for students to store their personal belongings. No notes, books, cell phones, etc. are allowed into the testing room. Cheat sheets and calculators will be an exception at the request of the course professor or exam sponsor.  Our center provides students with scratch paper if needed; all scratch paper is labeled and numbered. No scratch paper is allowed to leave our center and all scratch paper is shredded after taking an exam.
